Knot, tie, bond; bound; settle, wind up; to form. The bond of transmigration. There are categories of three, five, and nine bonds; e.g. false views, the passions, etc.

謂結前無我究竟之理決定無異， 是知五蘊皆是無我， 乃至無常， 是名結。

繫縛的意思， 是煩惱的別名， 因煩惱能繫縛眾生的身心， 使不能解脫， 永淪生死。
